Senate Approves Hindu Worship Resolution
Recognizing the diverse religious traditions of campus residents, the SGA Student Senate approved a resolution last week to establish a location for Hindu worship on campus. The Office of Spiritual Life will be heavily involved in both the initiation and promotion of the project.
This worship space is intended to be separate from Carr Memorial Chapel (the God Box). While a specific location has not been formally announced, Farr Hall was one of the buildings that were recommended.
