SGA holds fall banquet for recognition of members, administrators
The Student Government Association held a banquet in the Pritzker Club on Friday, November 13th to recognize its 40 plus officers, the new members entering SGA, and members of the administration for their help on various efforts. The event also provided an enjoyable networking reward for many incredible people dedicated to improving the university. Guests enjoyed a wonderful banquet served by IIT Dining Services catering that included drinks at a reception in the MTCC Welcome Center, salad, a gourmet chicken with mushroom sauce dish, and apple pie for desert. Participants were also treated to a special video from the SGA Executive Board that involved the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, SGA’s sister organization the Student Union Board, and a whole lot of fun. The video is currently viewable from the Illinois Tech Student Government Association fan page on Facebook. Special guests included Tanya Anderson (Student Life), Fabio Buffa (Student Life), Doug Geiger (Dean of Students), Pattie Piotrowski (Galvin), Anna Lockhart (Business Administration), Jean Bingham (Auxiliary Services), Evan Venie (IIT Today), Noreen Kozak (Office of the Provost), Sandra LaPorte (Office of the President), Provost Alan Cramb, and President John Anderson. It was an incredible night for all.
