Board of Trustees meeting coming soon
President Ray Ballard had his monthly one on one with IIT President John Anderson last Tuesday where they discussed several issues, but perhaps most importantly, the Board of Trustees meeting on October 15th. Ballard will be presenting to the entire Board on several topics, and President Anderson was able to provide some good advice. Ballard says he will be focusing on a few topics, including the overall need for improvement in recreational facilities (in particular, the athletic facilities available in Keating), the huge growth in student organizations over the last four years and the need to support them as a supplement to academic education, and the need for increased university visibility and recognition of IIT’s stature as a premiere technology university.
