Galvin Library Idea Great; Details Still A Ways Off

Everyone agrees that Galvin Library as the pinnacle place of academic study (24 hours a day) is a great idea, but the details are going to need some time to work out.  After a great meeting with helpful Galvin staff members Pattie Piotrowski and Kristin Standaert and OTS (Office of Technology Services) staff member Keren Fiorenza, SGA Academic Affairs Vice President Karen Nelson and President Ray Ballard agreed that the Student Government Association (SGA) would lead in drafting a proposal for the transition to and operation of a 24-hour Galvin Library that includes study locations, most computer programs for IIT classes, color copying/printing, and security for students, equipment, and staff members that utilize the building late at night.  SGA would like to thank the Galvin and OTS staff for their support on this important student issue.
