Two Presidents Collide
Student Body President Ray Ballard met with IIT President John Anderson last Monday to discuss their path forward as both attempt to improve the student experience at Illinois Tech. They discussed a range of issues, including advisory groups for the colleges, student input on the Board of Trustees, the under representation of graduate students in the Student Government Association (SGA), Public Safety, and many more. President Anderson also committed to participating in a General Assembly (open forum) with Provost Alan Cramb sometime in October or November. President Ballard said the meeting was both productive and enjoyable.
